From our laser cutting facilities in Sheffield we run a Bystronic Bystar 3015 6 KW Fiber. With a maximum bed size of our 3000 x 1500 mm this allows us to efficiently maximise performance and production from a market leading laser provider.
With our in-house CAD design facilities we are no doubt able to transform your pencil sketching to into laser readable files.

Material thickness we can laser cut
Our laser cutting facilities have the capability to cut sheet dimensions up to 3000mm x 1500mm and can cut thicknesses up to:
- Mild Steel – 0.9mm – 25mm
- Stainless Steel – 0.9mm – 30mm
- Aluminium 0.9mm – 30mm
- Brass – 0.9mm – 15mm
- Copper 0.9mm – 12mm
Secondary operations
Countersinking, Weld Preps, Bevels & Chamfers
Combining the cutting and bevelling / countersinking processes from a single source, reduces the number of steps within the supply chain, improving efficiency.
Able to produce top face and bottom face (or a combination of both) edge preps. Preps are commonly requested on metals such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium, but we can also preform bevels on tough metals such as wear plate, duplex, super duplex and Inconel.
Our weld preparations are suitable for single and doubled sided, partial and full penetration butt welds. Each plate edge can have different prep angle.
