Versatile Sheet Metal Cutting
The Mazak Optiplex Nexus 3015 fiber laser cutter is ideal for cutting stainless steel, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, thin gauge steel and steel plate with a high quality finished edge. Our laser cutting facilities have the capability to cut sheet dimensions up to 3000mm x 1500mm.

JSR Engineers are pleased to announce the latest investment to our Sheffield Laser Cutting Facilities, the Mazak OPTIPLEX NEXUS 3015 Fiber
The new fiber laser eliminates mirrors and other components of the beam delivery path by using fiber optics to significantly reduce the cost of maintenance, allowing both JSR and our customers to benefit from production costs efficiency.
Equipped with sensors that monitor and adjust the laser focus and calibration for additional accuracy, the Nexus 3015 FIBER includes additional intelligent cutting functions that optimise cutting conditions to provide quality surface finishes during high-speed cutting, meaning that there is no further requirement for secondary finishing.
Combining the cutting and bevelling / countersinking processes from a single source, reduces the number of steps within the supply chain, improving efficiency.
Able to produce top face and bottom face (or a combination of both) edge preps. Preps are commonly requested on metals such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium, but we can also preform bevels on tough metals such as wear plate, duplex, super duplex and Inconel.
Our weld preparations are suitable for single and doubled sided, partial and full penetration butt welds. Each plate edge can have different prep angle.
