With just the touch of a couple of buttons CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machines can produce a whole variety of different parts, all of different complexity. We’d like to teach you a little bit more about how our CNC machines work and how produce such precise parts.
Computer aided technology
The first part of the production process starts from computer aided design drawing (CAD) file for the item you wish to be machined, our systems will then convert the file in to a readable format.
The machines system will then convert your drawing into numbers that act as co-ordinates. These co-ordinates then control all movement of the cutter allowing us to produce a precision part to specification.
The benefits of CNC machining
- CNC designs can be manufactured hundreds and thousands of times with each manufactured product remaining the exact the same.
- CNC machines do not require much maintenance other than to change cutting implements at intervals and carry out light cleaning. These are both things that can be carried out internally.
- CNC machining can create any component you can imagine.
- CNC machines are stronger, faster and more precise than human operations.
JSR use our technologies to manufacture parts of all sizes and specifications across industries such as Agriculture, Steelworks, Forestry, Automotive, Oil and gas, Railway and Foundries
